Synopsis: Set in 1983. Follows Shaun, a twelve-year-old who is lonely and missing his father who has been killed in the Falklands War. He is befriended by a gang of laidback skinheads led by Woody, who take him under their wing. However, things change when the older and unpredictable Combo is released from prison. He tries to steer his old friends towards racist politics, but this splits the gang. Shaun chooses to stay with Combo, confused by the latter's praise of his father and his admiration for Shaun. Combo takes those who remain to a National Front meeting and tries to transform Shaun into a racist thug.
